Quietly breathing in Rakant's wood smoke scent with the sensation of their exhales mingling into the steam and misty air between them, the storm dragon felt lulled to close her eyes. Feeling his presence, relishing in the peace around them. The warm water that lapped at her haunches. In those moments where Takaani cradled the angular jaw of her mate in her paw and tipped his head forward to allow their foreheads to brush, time seemed to almost stand still.
