The current wearer of the Oak Crown is a member of the Rehwald Dynasty, that succeeded the Eichhorn Dynasty in 1909. Herbert attended college in Kervina, where he was known for playing the occasional prank; one of which, involving the release of feral rats, nearly got him expelled. After being censured by his father, Herbert submitted to punishment dictated by the university's rectors and went on to get a degree in law.

Despite his college hijinks, Herbert has achieved a reputation for being a steady and reliable ruler. He is shown here wearing the formal uniform of the Kervinian Royal Guard and the sash of the Sacred and Royal Order of the Holy Union (Male Division). He and his wife Ariadne have one daughter who has become engaged to a member of the minor nobility.
