Truthfully its messages like this that really help me keep going. I feel lonely quite a lot as I spend sooo much time on these comics and art that I dont really chat to folk a lot and i'm pretty quiet so tend to feel quite isolated whilst trying to churn out all the various comics on time. So thank you, stuff like this really means a lot to me. Im glad my stuff was able to help you.

I have very VERY vauge memories of touching a small manta rays in one of those. It's only if the only thing I remember about the aquarium.

I remember going with my dad to one in Barcelona, and he rating every animal in the tanks by taste, that was when I was vegetarian for several years by then and grew up in a country where eating shrimps, lobsters and such isn't a thing cause of kosher rules, so I never saw them as food, more of sea bugs that are very gross. so it wasn't the best time for sure

Uff. Even as a person who eats them, I still see shrimp and lobster as potential pets. I actually owned a krillfish once long ago but I raised it like a shrimp thinking that's what it was so it obviously didn't last long lol. It was nice while it lasted though.

I kinda cheat with this as I have a little rucksack thats in the shape of a dog (Ive had him for about 18 years) Anyway whenever I go out, he comes with me, everywhere, weddings/job interviews/everything. He keeps all my stuff safe and I kinda see him as a sort of support plushie but also being useful and I can justify him to people as he's my bag, but secretly he's my protector.

I feel shy with those too :< but I’ve only seen fill plushie looking ones.

I hope you can work through that. Plushies help so dang much. I keep one in the car and bring it with me to stressful situations. It's a constant companion at airports. I haven't noticed any negative reactions. Eliot is such a deer to me.

I think this page has kinda decided that martin is my favorite charecter... well this and the fact I'm re reading the comic. He just has such a chill vibe and positive attitude that I cant help but love him!

I mean, it's not like Star is making a show out of it and flaunting how she's dressed in people's faces.

Normally I'm pretty averse to the idea of being openly ABDL in public (and somewhat related note, despite my love of forced babying I actually really dislike Public Humiliation. Ironic...), mostly because the few I've seen talking about that tend to be the Exhibitionist type that acts fairly obnoxious about it.

But that's the thing, Star isn't being obnoxious about it. She's not making a show out of it and shoving the way she's dressed in people's faces, or going around in a fully exposed diaper (which personally would count as Indecent Exposure because diapers are still a form of underwear), or talking loudly about the fact that she's an adult dressed like a baby.

To refine the way I think most of the time, I'd say as long as you're not going out of your way to shove it in people's faces, make a show of how you're dressed ("Lookit me, I'm wearing diapers and I'm an ADULT! so DEAL WITH IT!" is the kind of thing I'm thinking about here), or engaging in Indecent Exposure... have at it. Star isn't doing any of those things, so I feel she's just fine.

Besides, a lot of women's clothes tend to lean towards the Cutesy aesthetic and would work well with diapers on their own. (Just look at any Precure outfits and you'll see what I mean, up to and including their Magical Girl outfits, but they get artwork of themselves in other cute outfits as well. Look up 'Precure Puzzlun', lots of cute artwork.) So... I don't think Star stands out too much here anyway, unless something were to happen to expose her diaper to everyone.

Man, this is just hammering so many things about my own life/condition.

I'll say it again, aquariums make amazing date locations~

Tide pools are always fun no matter what age you are, and don't let anyone keep you from doing what you love.

Well...No because she's an adult too you know. she wouldnt be lecturing them when shes playing baby but theres nothing wrong with discussing adlt things whilst shes not in little space. its not a 100% all the time little time relationship, thats a quick was of getting to the end of the relationship extra fast

That you don't know if you should find it cute as a little or interesting as an adult. Also feeling severe awkwardness if you flip-flop very quickly between the two modes.

BUt thats not what we're talking about here. we're talking about being more knowledgeable in some ares than the caretakers and thats obviously going to happen as different adults have different interests. Star could probably strip down a scooter and put it back together again without breaking a sweat or talk about various parts of her job in great length all the ins and outs of various communication tech. ButThat doesnt mean that breaks her immersion as a little. because when its time to be little she's not gonna want to talk about those things.

That is something you don't seem to struggle with. That conflict between adult and little.

Though I also would like to see other aspects of it. Like to some extent you do have to not do it in public as it's too much of a bother to others.

Are you including other people in your kink? Would a jury of your peers consider what you're wearing to be indecent in public?

If you answered no to both of these questions, you're fine. People stress far too much over this. People wear diapers for a variety of reasons - nobody's going to hear a crinkle and point the finger of shame at you. People wear a variety of styles, many of which cutesy now. Heck, I find a lot of little clothes at Hot Topic. Some people need comfort items to live - plushies and chewables are regularly recommended to people on the Autism spectrum and with mental health issues.

In public though you have to hold it back just for the sake of general decency. You also have to hold the other more extreme parts of your personality. That's the difference between being in public and in private.

I feel I made a pretty good outline of what is and isn't acceptable in public.

I shall share my favorite story about touch pools.

A New England aquarium had a touch pool with fish and other sorts of tide-pool-ish creatures. They apparently came in one morning to find that a baby lobster had taken up residence underneath one of the stones, hiding well enough that it had gotten to a fair size before being found. Filter-feeders need plankton, and apparently one of the plankton escaped and grew up

They left it in the pool. I'm not sure exactly what they did about the claws (rubber bands probably), though it is quite possible to pet a lobster if you're very careful about the angles.

Oh, my goodness. I love to man the tide pool it can be a bit crazy sometimes, but I love when you see everyone light up at being able to actually touch something weird and often squishy.
