I want to express my point of view on what is happening between Russia and Ukraine. I am very scared to understand that for several days now there has been a war. This is what I have been afraid of all my life and I think I'm not alone. I feel infinitely sorry for those who fell under fire, those who were left without a roof over their heads. What is happening is terrible. But I want to make one thing clear. Please stop blaming ALL Russians. We are also scared, we are very sorry, we did not choose this outcome. I have friends and relatives in Ukraine, I am afraid for their lives and every day I write and try to keep in touch. My roots go back to Ukraine and I am sincerely sorry. Please, there is so much dirt in the world, enough hatred from scratch.

Unfortunately some people on this site don't care about the fact that many Russian citizens such as yourself, did not want this horrible war.
The blame falls solely on Putin and the Russian Government, yet some people think that since Russian citizens have to pay taxes, they are also to blame. Despite the fact that in almost any country, the common HAS TO pay taxes, or else they risk all kinds of legal problems.
I've seen quite a few people harassing several Russian users here, and it sickens me everyday. And it gets on my nerves that they'll use any excuse they can get to try to make it sound like that their behavior is not only justified, but that it should be tolerated. It shouldn't be tolerated. Period.
Harassing and discriminating against people for the actions of their government isn't okay. Doubly so when said people are TRYING to either SPEAK OUT about or condemn their government's actions.
