Hurm... a little known book called "Brothers of the Snake". Always did enjoy that read.

Ahem. *puts on spectacles and grabs hard copy version of it* Well, you see, it's set in the 41st Millenium, apart of a large universe known as: "Warhammer 40,000". It is about a Chapter of Space Marines (warrior monks stronger, faster, smarter, and tougher than ordinary humans.) Known as the Iron Snakes. It follows the trials and tribulations of Squad Damocles as they fight evil Marines fallen to the foul forces of Chaos, Dark Eldar (Think Dark Elves but... WORSE.) And Orks. (... Need I say anything about these guys? Orks: brutes who love a good fight and loot worlds. Have an uncanny ability to build advanced technology from scraps.) The main character is Brother Priad, who we follow from being a newly made Space Marine to the leader of Damocles. It is written by acclaimed author (of other books and 40k) Dan Abnett.

It is a very excellent book. Though, I should warn you, it might spark your interest into this new universe. Be prepared to open many, MANY doors.
