The Kaniagi were once powerful nature spirits, but long ago, they gave up their mighty power to live peacefully in the physical world. While they retained some magic, it was far more limited than the Kaniagi of old, who could easily be mistaken for gods.

Some tribes of Kaniagi learned how to separate their spirit from the body to reawaken their true might. This astral state, known as a Force Projection, is the greatest level of magical power that a Kaniagi can achieve. As the centuries passed, this art was thought to have been lost to time.

But one day, Cuddles accidentally rediscovered this technique. In a freak accident, his soul and body became disconnected, and while he has still yet to learn to properly control it, the process is repeatable. If he can harness the flame in his heart, Cuddles could burn brighter than a thousand suns.
