Ophelia and Jacob are in Dr. Macaca's office and Michael makes his escape. Before he leaves the hospital, he sends a quick prayer to his God asking him to take care of Amanda. Later, after sleeping for a couple of hours, Michael receives another telephone call this one from the Pantheras asking him to join them for brunch. He agrees and gets out of bed. He feeds his kittens and heads to the Panthera home where he is greeted enthusiastically by Anne. When everyone is in the living room, Michael announces that Amanda was in an accident and in very bad shape.

While I've got the next two chapters completed, I'm not going to upload the next chapter for at least two or three weeks. I want to try to get ahead so I have a backlog in case something happens to prevent me from writing for a while.
