At a local breast cancer fund raiser at a hair salon there were many girls who came in and out. These 3 are the ones who won my heart. My uncle works there so I get to suit up with out a problem ;) But the tallest girl to my left, her father OWNS the place. She ran to the back and pulled out a clip on streak and automaticaly put it in rukas bang. Later that day I was standing out side and a middle aged lady and her friend were walking by. (These girls were still by my side). One made a rude remark like "Thats so childish, not funny or cute at all. and its so fake" Imediatly I wanted to walk up to her to say knock it off and keep your thoughts to your self, my girls havw already confronted her. All telling her how hard it is, and how I am as real as can be and how shes old so she cannot understand the joy of this. My heart was totally warmed.
I must say, these girls stood up for me when I couldent. They are wonderfull girls. Altough I would have loved to explain in precise words, they covered it.... short version ;)

My mom owns a hair salon and I wore my old head there back when it was complete and they were amazed that I could make such a thing ..and I live in the country so... you would thing they would all think I was crazy ..but they think I am creative and sweet , go figure ...our tiny little town is oddly accepting of people as long as they are nice to everyone and not obnoxious ....my friend carol has a habit of being a little annoying ( she is a bit loud and a little clueless though I love her heart cause I can see through her odd habits to how she really is) but others do not see that and do not wish to tolerate it ..though they would never say it to her face ..plus carol is around 40-50 so they just tolerate her ..mainly she drives my mom nuts cause she calls her while she is working and thinks she has time to talk for like an hour @_@ but anyway I am rambling
I think your friends are awesome and I hope the ladies getting there hair done thought you were adorable
I know I am going to wear my suit to the shop some ..I can only think of one lady I know of that will act like she has a broom stuck up her butt ...but in my towns defense she is not from around here XD She is up from up north originally

its funny how most suiters love entertaining kids and the kids LOVE it...but old people hate it...even when they can see the smiles it puts on kids faces. I agree with Dragonzoomer...it brightens some peoples days and i say screw all the others with their closed minds. not enough people understand the "art" concept of this fandom or how much time goes into our creations. lol i would have let em have it! but i can see those awesome kids had your back =)
