I noticed my dad had a large collection of Edgar Rice Burrows books, and, on a whim, I figured I'd read some of those John Carter on Mars ones. In, I believe, the second book, there's some 'plant men' and I figured I'd give a try at drawing one. Mine aren't really as they're described in the book, apart from main physical characteristics, since I think the ones in the book were smooth-skinned. That little hole below the eye is a nostril, and they have mouths in the 'palms' of their hands. They're supposed to have tails, but I didn't draw one. So there. >.>
