Nyle (the second key character of the story) - his species are called wendel, meaning “wanderer”, due to their nomadic lifestyle. These are fairly light, maneuverable and cunning lizards with a sharp sense of smell. While still just a chick, Nyle was almost killed for fun by Lucera’s half-brother, Daro. Such a hunt was not appreciated by the cat, she saved the little wendel at the last moment. However, for Nyle that meeting did not pass without a trace - young wolf left a scar on the right side of his head.
