Because affordable housing's so difficult to find, it's not unusual for local students to live at home while attending college. I got into a big fight with my parents because I wanted to move out, but they wanted me to stay home and save money. Is this a similar experience for others?

I attended a branch campus for the first two years that had no residences or housing of any type nearby. It wasn't until my Junior year that I attended the main campus and moved into a place of my own. If commuting would have been practical to the main campus I would have stayed home and saved the rent money.
