Find Me On:
Fur Affinity ◈ Weasyl Like a fairly large percentage of my characters (especially of the female and vulpine categories), Amarantha just sort of exists as an "eye candy" character that was fun to draw and people liked, but lacked depth so I eventually moved on to other things. What really set her apart, however, was her hippie fashion sense.
As generic as it is, I always figured she'd be an outdoorsy type that loves camping and stargazing and walks in the forest, and probably actually has a surprising level of knowledge when it comes to foraging for edible plants and mushrooms, and a lot about wilderness survival.
And, as luck would have it, I finished drawing this one right as World War III started at the end of February... Posted using PostyBirb

I remember back in the day, I was thinking about pairing her with another one of my underutilized Underwear Foxes, the adorkable yet generic Lucas that I drew a couple times back in 2017. The idea of Lucas, a somewhat shy and awkward city-dwelling normie, being dragged along on wilderness adventures and camping trips by his adventurous hippie girlfriend seemed like an amusing character dynamic to me then and it still seems fun now.
