If you've read my journals then you know that I've been on HRT since around last October. This photo was taken in December. By then I'd decided how I wished to present myself and started to acquire newer clothing to fit in with my choice: A mix of clothing to suit how I feel on any given day - be it more Masc or more Femme.

I was given the dress pictured by a very close friend of mine - someone I see as a Daughter. It is a vintage, Red Velvet dress! It had been sitting in my closet for a fair bit, too "fancy" for me to justify pulling it out for more casual wearing. For the Holiday Season, I decided to pull it out for Christmas/Yule as well as New year's Eve/Day.

Despite the facial expression, doing so made me feel so happy!
