Not furry related but reposting this from my IG as I find this important in relevance to yesterday being International Women's day:

・Indigenous women are murdered at a rate that's 10x the national average
・More than four out of five indigenous women have experienced violence
・Murder is the third leading cause of death among indigenous women
・Indigenous women are more likely to be murdered than any other ethnicity

On this International Women's day, take time to acknowledge and spread awareness of the violence indigenous Canadian and Native American women face.
