Nothing says "cool down" like hanging out with some friends a day before a convention starts. So why not just enjoy the facilities in the meanwhile?

There was a bit of an odd feeling that most of us got when we went to take a swim and fart around the deep side of the pool, and for some reason, there wasn't any of that classic 'pool' smell, so no chlorine. We did ask earlier if it was OK to go in, and the concierge said that it was 100% okay for us to go and swim at this time, so ... we just decided to have fun.

After a bit, I got a bit hungry, and went to the little snackbar thing that was up against the pool, and I went to get a snack. Though for some reason, as I was getting really REALLY hungry all of a sudden, and the prices were ... actually alright for what it was. Guy at the register was just smiling at me, and put in my order, and I just watched  tf-sential get out of the pool, and rest on one of the lounge chairs, while  theyellowcoat,  settop and  jaker were still swimming around.

Getting my food and surprised at the smell and the sheer size of the burger and my drink, I was just going to sit on one of the benches in the back . . . absolutely fascinated with what was on the tray, despite some audible protests from the others...
