My new hero oc I made last night. Yes, he's basically the heroic version of Davy Jones.

He was an orphan who try to survive off the streets, soon stowaway on a pirate ship. He was almost killed but the Captain see used of him so he let him live as long as he follow the captain's orders. Things were good regarding him playing the role of a cabin boy. But then he keeps wondering if this is what he really wants, he always dreams of being a captain of his own with a crew and ship and all. Until one day, he escapes from his old captain along with a couple of men who see him as his friends after spending a lot of time together. They escape in the dead of night and set out their own adventures. After years of sailing on a new ship, with a hardy crew that he picked from the streets of different towns and lands...his dream of being a captain came true. But unlike most pirates which they pillage and plunder. Levi and his crew have different motives, they keep other dangerous pirates at bay and saved lives in return for gold and other necessities to continue with their career. Not a lot of people see them as allies but they are willing to risk for the people's safety. Even the Navy sometimes collaborated with him to ensure the seas are clean of vermins. Everything was all good for everyone, even gaining the title "Warriors of the Seas". Until one fateful day when one of his most trusted members betrayed the whole crew and the end result was the death of all including the destruction of the ship by stealing an artifact that was presumably belong to a sea witch and cursing them. The cursed were activated when after the death...altering their bodies to be suitable to the sea and the one who betrayed them was exile, never to return to the ship again. After the horrible realization, Levi and his cursed crew slowly accepted their fate and continue their mission of protecting the seas for all eternity...until they figure out how to break the spell, find the traitor who causes this in the first place and permanently kills him and free their spirits so they may rest in the afterlife.
