As is typical I always end up way too late on the fanart train, so let's just imagine it's 2018 again and we're playing RDR2.
Finally grabbed it in a sale recently and hoh boy is it a great game. Admittedly i was prepared for all the annoying railroading during missions that game does, so i accepted my fate and just went with whatever the game wanted to show me, rather than try and do weird open world stuff, but story wise it's a fantastic thing.
It's the first game that managed to create a weird feeling of not wanting to start the game over because it'd be weird to disturb where the characters are at and just reset them.

Yeah. One way to do it was to have one on your own horse and then have one other horse follow you around and store it on there, but yeah.
The rewards for hunting never felt substatial enough either way, so i didn't really bother once i realized that the whole "you need to hunt for the camp" was nothing but lies.

well, it was getting those talismans and charms - and upgrading your satchel for more storage space - that was pretty much the only reason
I played through roughly half the game, until I got a scoped long rifle, then I did all the hunting so I could get all the upgrades - then I finished the game
