I always say to my kids no matter how you can devide people into categories by how they look, religion, where they come from, anything really. But that group will have assholes and amazing people. So judge the person by their actions.
When an asshole is in charge of a place or group that doesn't mean everyone below them are as such.
And you seem like a pretty good kiwi, you are doing amazing things to try to help. We don't judge you for your leader or where you live.

i’m sorry this is all happening, and i’m sorry you were fined for doing your part :( it takes a lot of bravery to protest but take care of yourself! also, i think your art has purpose^^ the world is scary, and art is a good way for both artists and the audience to take their mind off the scary stuff. it helps people a lot^^

Kiwi, don't you ever lose that fire to help others in need. What you've done is amazing, and I am glad that there are people on this Earth such as yourself, ones who speak out against injustice, hatred and aggression, ones who refuse to be silenced.

One person a country does not make, but certainly one person does it take for a country to break. I believe we can safely say that a vast majority of people want this to be over, and for there to be peace, and I hope we can all accomplish that. I believe we can.

Please stay safe, and thank you, from one human being to another, for standing up to a cowardly self-centered tyrant. Stay strong; you will find meaning in your artwork again, don't worry. Well, I think this is a wonderful drawing, I love emus.. and I will never see any citizen like you as any kind of blame for the actions of your leaders. I hope you will be safe, I hope everyone who can will be safe..
