Syms can easily suit themselves by reaching into a well-obscured zipper in the back of their suit's plushie form, and grasping the crystalline core within the cavity. The suit's special thread will then unwind itself and begin to ensnare the body of the sym inside itself, with the special padding of the plush expanding or compressing to bring about the true form of the beast. For example here, you can see the beautiful, rounded ears of the bear and the short muzzle with the sym contained inside, as well as the dangerously sharp claws that have hardened themselves upon being suited. The gal inside seems to be quite happy with her bulkened body, and she'll assuredly enjoy the environmental resistances and enhanced strength her powerful body now offers...

Though, of course, there are limitations to suiting. Plushies that have a naturally small form cannot compress the body of a sym to fit inside of themselves... And if you have horns but you wanted to have a shark suit... Well, your shark skin would have the horns shining through. But who knows, maybe you look sexy as hell with wings on your shark body, allowing you the best of aerial and aquatic movement.
