Hooooo buddy, I have a feeling the next few pages will contain plenty of resentment, yelling, anger and regret, judging by these two's expressions. We'll have to see!
anyway, ok, I don't comment here very much, my last time (not counting my wonder-lawyer joke a few pages back) has been a couple years ago i think, but I am always checking in and on the edge of my seat and my god the conflicted emotions with this comic is getting absolutely nervewracking. You have the unique ability to make everybody's sex-drive and kink-brain go "yes... YES..." while simultaniously making their emotional center go "AAAAAAAAA ;A; " and the fact that you can make people feel both at once is brilliant. No matter what happened so far, i'm at the edge of my seat and look forward to what you're planning with the story; especially when this entire comic is basically "Came for the Sexy, stayed for the Plot: The Furry Webcomic" :'D
Now, let's get my nerd-glasses out and let me analyze this whole business! So far, you've done your darndest to make us emotionally invested into these protagonists. They're not JUST there for sexual gratification, which is more that can be said compared to other furry adult comics, but they're definitely still used for this. This gives us this conflict of emotion and sexuality/kink that I mentioned previously. This gives us a unique conundrum for this comic and it's future, potentially it's ending.
Most stories (that aren't hopeless existential dread or horror i mean) need a satisfying payoff. Sexual or kinky stories need sexual or kinky payoff. Emotional stories need emotional payoff. Here we're in the peculiar situation that we need BOTH. If we go the route of "freedom, yaaaay, heroes' league reformed, frost and wild holding hands, kiss in the sunset, credits roll", we 100% give the sexually invested people blue balls but may make the more emotionally invested readers happy.
If we go the route of full-on kink, where it all turns out like Buns wants, it seems like, at least right now, that it's the other way around. Because let's face it, i REALLY can't see many scenarios where that could be a happy end atm (except for your dick, I mean), and Buns reaaaally doesn't strike me as a good person, with also quite a few readers hoping to see him get karma in some way. He has some moments where some better intentions might gleam through, but I am not sure, since... well... like, he's a slimy rich scheming magnificent bastard who turns alls kinds of dudes into his rubbery servants. Is it hot? God, yes. Is it good? Ehhh... Not to mention that I find him the hardest character to analyze, especially since I am not sure if I am supposed to count the previous kinky stories involving him where he REALLY doesn't seem good at all as canon to THIS story, so, eh. And his overall motives are murky to me, he kidnaps heroes to specifically have them act as HEROES, not as underlings. But I can't tell if for a benevolent purpose or pure profit and hedonism. At the very least, his hedonism is still a part of it.
So, anyway. *Adjusts Glasses* It's save to assume that the proper final ending to this entire story will be somewhere in the middle of kinky and emotional, satisfying both sides of the spectrum. But that's such a muddy grey zone, nobody is able to truly predict what happens so I guess we have to see what happens. I do have some thoughts though, that kinda fit with the themes regarding Wild and Frost.
Here's my analysis. *Glasses gleam like some dude in an anime*
Wildfire, like his namesake, can be destructive, but nurtured into something useful; like a controlled wildfire (heh) that provides the burned forest's plants with nutrients from the ashes. IMO he, as a character, needs guidance, which he currently found in Buns. At least someone or something keeping him in check and having a some control over him, while still doing good and being happy would be a good end for him. Is Buns HEALTHY for that purpose though? I'm not sure, someone ELSE might be a good fit, but right now I can't really tell.
Frost meanwhile was controlled for his entire life, and so far it's been nothing but bad. From the Heroes League to Buns, somebody always wants to control and own him in some way, and he keeps getting roped into things that he wants nothing to do with due to this. Emotionally, it seems, RIGHT NOW at least, that the best possible thing to happen is him being able to archieve at least some level of freedom and independence... and honestly, I wonder how that could happen from here, especially combined with being a character in a comic focussing on a kink ALL ABOUT control and restriction, and will have to see.
Both are ultimately very diffent people. What's right for one isn't necessarily for the other.
Then we have Night Shepherd tho... his main motivation so far is seeing his brother safe and sound. He also has some baggage about his past lover. And while he's been framed, we still have yet to see the effects this will have in the future. His personality and arc still needs to properly unfold to be able to fold back into a potential end, so I can't quite say yet what a good payoff to his arc would be. Getting aquitted would be a start, but that whole thing can currently go in any direction right now if you ask me. Honestly, I think he might be the key to solve the whole story somehow, but we'll have to see.
I have faith tho that the end, no matter how far away it is, will probably give most people what they want and have some sort of payoff that everyone likes. or at least i hope so! But at this point, nobody except you can predict how this might be achieved. So, we'll have to see!
Anyway, good job and keep on trucking on! You're great! The fact alone that this comic made me want to write out this ENTIRE thing is proof of that! You're making me THINK, and not everyone can do that! Also haha sorry for the wall of text pfffft

Buns must be very confident that Frostbite and Wildfire will eventually be able to work their issues out, considering he put them together in the same room. Either that, or he will find out exactly how much damage the symbiotes can heal! I love how much this comic is delving into the secret background and emotions for the main character. Each page is like peeling back another layer of Frostbite's defenses. It makes me highly interested in what will happen next.

Either that, or he will find out exactly how much damage the symbiotes can heal! I love how much this comic is delving into the secret background and emotions for the main character. Uh-oh! Frost and fire are colliding! Who could have orchestrated this accidental meeting? What are the odds that these two would run into each other right here? Maybe a particular mastermind bear who ordered for an extra bed to be delivered to a particular room? Who could have the authority to do such a thing?

For now he wants to pull out every single strand if that lions mane. I fear that Wildfire will have to do a lot of monologuing cause Frostbite will be gagged in a bit when he explodes.

Wow, making Snowflake and Kitty become roommates again. There's being evil and there's being plain mean.
Having Wildfire to fight a friend he 'betrayed' was opening an old wound. Having Buns deconstructing his entire career was spitting on said wound. Now squeezing the two former roommates into one room again is pouring salt over it.

Honestly I kinda hope Frostbite gets called out for his BS not wildfire, he's in no position to chastise him when he's likely done just as bad too. Plus why is he angry, he KNEW it's Him. To me hes in no position to talk, especilaly the fact he ALMOST killed him
XD Now if only our glacial friend knew what our blazing lion has been through before he finally gave in to his symbiote and chose to serve Buns as his master. I wonder, would that change his reaction and his thoughts toward the lion? I suppose we'll have to wait and see. Still can't wait for that rhino to get what's coming to him.
Se que no es para tanto, pero ando un poco perdido. Que no hace poco a wildfire lo habian capturado y enjuiciado? Se que se ve hay infiltrados que pueden ayudar a sacarlo de ahi, pero, es que después del juicio, buns decide que tienen que mudarse de base para evadir sospechas, a pesar de que ya wildfire y frosbite ya estan reencontrandose como si hubiera sido en menos de un dia todo lo transcurrido. Xd siento que me perdí de algo jajajaja
From now on Wildfire had got permission to expose his head there.I still remember that in the FROSTBITE he was forced to cover his head all the time.Is it because he accepted Buns'concept sincerely instead of being driven by the symbiont?Or was he just trying to get some air?(Just a joke)
