This is a greeting card, done in water color and washi tape. I made it for a card making group.

Albatrons will often do repetitive loops and figure 8s with each other. They do these dances when they feel safe and happy. It is also thought to be a way for them to practice cooperating with each other.

Unlike the stereotypical emotionless robot, albatrons actually feel very strong emotions almost all the time. Their exteriors are made of a substance called “chromameld,” which changes colors based on their mood.

Happy/loving/humorous: bright colors in swirled patterns, soft tail fan
Angry/hostile/hungry: dark colored gradient, spiky tail fan
Anxious/terrified/stressed: jagged, non sensical patterns with brighter colors, shedding tail fan that can cause fires
Depressed/ennui/humiliated: grayed, dull colors with a thick coating of gel and no tail fan
