Flattening is pretty a pretty fun toony idea. Combined this with my established stretchiness, and you get an eye-catching new carpet; a long wide, flat tongue, with a smaller, flat dog attached. How long will I be stuck like this? Days? Weeks? Months? Who knows. Just be courteous and wipe your feet when you come in!

Exactly, and if anyone takes their shoes off at the door, the carpet will even clean their feet for them! (And thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed my work enough to be inspired by it! I've been kinda lurking your gallery for a while myself, so I'm beyond flattered to hear that from you. :D )
Haha, your tongue will be nice and worn in by then! XD And thank you! Honestly, you've given me some great ideas that I'm considering doing myself soon, but I'd love to see your version of them if you're interested. One of them is putting a character in a compression machine that squishes them top-down into a square rug, with their large tongue covering the top and their bare paws on the bottom. If I do it, I'll probably have a time-lapse showing the rug being stepped on and worn down, and then with someone pulling and stretching it to show how all the resistance was trampled out of it.
