Hes my second pick so hes in my japanese team x3 I named him Kanji for the lulz lol my whole japanese team is made up of my 'second picks' for the 5th gen so that I can breed PERFECT examples of my favorites for when the English version comes out hehe!

Oh yeah, you can trade between Japanese and English games now, right? I have a European Pearl, and it trades with my N. American games just fine. :D

Its true >.o;; it was rather expensive but SO worth it. Its not at all hard to navigate through if your a hardcore pokefan xD you might just want a walkthrough (marrilands?) on hand if you want to know where to go next/whats going on story wise.
Pretty sure you should be able to! I got a japanese Arcanine off the global trading post x3 im sure it would be fine. They will all have to have really short nicknames though unfortunatly LOL DAMN YOU JAPANESE 5 SPACE NAMES!
I got white and just beat the 5th gym 83 my 'second pick' team is complete at this point and is: Benji the Harderrier (lol every time I hear that name I think Hard Derriere as in butt LOL), Kanji the Janovy, Leon the Lepardas, Pidge the Kenhorou, Duran the protouga and my FAVOURITE (I never would have guessed) Bindi the Pendrah! Usually I never like bug types but I doooo have a thing for poison types it seems <3

xD Oh I've done worse. I paid like...$375 to play Wind Waker a little early (had to buy Japanese system, too) x3
I'd probably need a guide every once in a while -- I might understand the Japanese, but EVEN I ENGLISH, sometimes I don't know what is the next "trigger" event to make the game go farther. xD I even got stuck in HG, even though I've played Gold/Silver. xD xD xD
I know you can get Japanese pokes off the global trading, but I was once cautioned that direct trading with another region's copy might not work -- but if it worked with my European version, I don't see why it wouldn't work with Japanese, especially since the Kana isn't a problem to display anymore. :D

When I got my Gold version (Japanese) I found "Houndoom" (which was called "Helgaar" in Japanese), and it's name was almost the same as my dog, so I loved it. :D

x3 Well, it's tsutaaja in the Japanese writing, but making the "aa" double like that usually means it is pronounced "ar" if the word is foreign. Pokemon names are considered foreign words, so one way to write it in English text is "Tsutarja".
it's kinda like my screen name, "Nyaasu". "Nyaasu" is actually written as "Nyarth" when it's written in English letters. xD ...But that also involves the idea that Japanese "s" sometimes = English "th", so I'm afraid I've just made it more confusing...

From what I'm hearing from other people, it looks cool, but it's got ass for stats/moves. It's a 'pretty' Pokemon, but like Meganium, never going to be popular with people who play for more than fun.
I am still gonna pick it in White. I'll probably pick Wotter in Black (if/when I get it).
