Today I got a call from my parents that my tomcat Max has died yesterday. He was around 15 years old.
Max was the one who came to me around two years after I already had my cat Lilly, who is still alive. When I visited them last year in July, Max was already very skinny, but he was still very active and sought cuddles from everyone who was around pretty much.
And after  KarisTheWolf's cat Berli, passed away just a few days ago, I just knew that this would happen to my cats at my parents as well in the future. I just didn't expect it to be that soon...

My parents said, that he was all weak yesterday already and then they heard a muffled thud from one of the rooms. When my cat Lilly yelled for help most likely, while standing beside Max in the same room, my parents saw that he was just lying there and didn't really react to anything anymore. Though it probably was better like that, than anything else that he could've gone through in the process.
At least he didn't suffer too much.
