So 3 months ago, I was finally able to watch Encanto on Disney+ and all I can say is: It was amazing! :la: The animation, the music, the visuals, and of course: the story and characters! >w< :heart: I really loved how all 3 of the Madrigal sisters were portrayed as. It definitely helped balance them all out to the point where all of them gave me Crystal Gems from Steven Universe vibes, and thus, this was born. :D
I also decided to draw them in their birth order to make it easier.
Isabela as Pearl:
Both are the gracious, elegant, yet live up to perfectionism ones and in a way, are the oldest one in the trio since Garnet is a fusion of Ruby and Sapphire, so they wouldn't count. ^^; They also don't get along with the youngest member until much later on.
Luisa as Garnet:
Despite being the middle child, Luisa can be seen as the leader of the sisters as she's the most inbetween-grounded and while doesn't appear in much of her sisters' fights, Luisa would most definitely break them apart before things got ugly. Also, both posses super strength and sometimes struggle on how to live up to their expectations.
Mirabel as Amethyst
Definitely the most obvious choice! ^^ Both are the youngest, can be the wild cards, want to have fun, yet are often either looked down or told to be a certain way so they won't be seen as a disgrace in their community. Eventually, this would make them feel more insecure about themselves and wanting to be part of where they're from.
One day I might even do Dolores and Pepa as Lapis and Peridot as an extra.
