A piece I made for a friend who is going through a series of bad events. Trying to climb out of it only for the boulder to roll back.
Tried out a variety of new brush techniques, bought some new brushes too plus background work from Winnie taught me alot of whats possible. So I've been applying alot of techniques she has taught me.
Sisyphus; King of Spirus; the mythological figure, was cursed to roll a boulder up a mountain for all eternity. Everytime he was close to getting the boulder up a hill it rolled back down again only to start the process again. Sisyphus would start again each day just to roll it up the mountain, only for it to fall down for all eternity. Many have debated the meaning of the story. Is it about man's search for meaning? Power? Happiness? Success in the face of fruitless tasks?
