Looking up to the Spirits' Crossing, what humans may call the Milky Way, Aurora seeks to catch a glimpse of her friends: humans that were lost to a rogue dragon long ago. Among the stars, she believes the spirits of the fallen travel through the Crossing, on a pilgrimage between planes of higher existence. While most dragons assume the Crossing is reserved only for draconic spirits, she hopes that the human spirits of her friends walk among them. And, somewhere in the back of her mind, she also wonders if her parents she never met also soar in the Crossing.
