The Relic, the Extraterrestrial Adept who Abides in Stone. Another Cypher system PC. This one is for a superhero campaign. ^^ His backstory is he was one among many Astral entities that journeyed to Earth escaping the destruction of his home planet. His race of astral beings decided to observe and protect Earth in hopes of preventing it from getting destroyed like their old home. These aliens spread out into teams to look over new nations of humans and became the divine pantheons of the world. Some stayed in thier astral forms only speaking to humans through visions and direct possession while others, like Relic, instructed their people to build a vessel they could inhabit. After many centuries or direct or close contact with humans the pantheons became afraid their influence was too great on the humans or that some were becoming to power hungry or more of a leader than an advisor and observer. Collectively the deities began to pull back many going into a slumber only to awaken when the planet was nearing a catastrophe.

Relic has awoken several hundred years after the fall of his civilization's demise to prevent a foreseen cataclysm... he may have overslept... Without a people to worship him and feed his power he has turned to becoming a superhero to gain the faith of humanity and restore his powers to combat the oncoming Apocalypse.

Despite being thousands of years old and made nearly completely of stone Relic's body is still more advanced than most human technology. He is able to fly, generate a powerful energy barrier like an I-Field or AT-Field, and energy beam attacks, his punches also hit extra hard.
