
Here’s a sweet and spicy cornbread that pairs perfectly with a smoky chilli and even homemade queso dip too!
Here’s what you need:
1 & 1/2 cup cornmeal
2 cup milk
2 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup honey or choice sweetener
1 tsp salt
2 1/4-cups vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 tbsp baking powder
1/4 cup Finley diced jalapeños
Steps to properly bake:
1-preheat oven to bake on 400
2-whisk dry ingredients together then mix in wet ingredients until combined
3-pour mixture into oven-safe pan and bake for 15-20 minutes (use a toothpick to determine if cornbread is baked completely through)
4-after baking is complete, let cool for 5 minutes and serve with on side with chilli or other favourite dish
