
Here’s a hearty dish that has a smoky taste with a nice flavour that makes game night or any weekend dinner a real touchdown!
Here’s what you need:
2 tbsp chilli powder
1lb ground beef
1 onion
2 bell peppers
1 large can red kidney beans
1 small can LaTuscina chipotle pepper sauce
1 tbsp chipotle Tabasco
1/2 container of mushrooms
1 can hunts tomato paste
1 large can hunts crushed tomatoes
1/2 small bag frozen corn
1/2 cup fancy molasses
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp cinnamon
Here’s how to do it:
1-cook veggies (onion+mushroom+peppers) in a hot pan and add to slow cooker, then add beans and corn and stir
2-in the same pan (still hot) cook ground beef until no pink, then drain fat and add chilli powder+chipotle sauce, finally add to slow cooker and stir
3-drain beans and add to cooker pot, then add tomato paste+crushed tomato and molasses+cumin+cinnamon
4-stir together everything in the pot and let simmer on high for 6 hours (or longer for better taste), then serve with choice of cheese and enjoy!
