did you know that balto wasn't the lead sled dog for the entire ididerod((sp?)) a dog more worthy of the fame would be the other lead dog called Tonka. he actually ran most of it.... balto gets most of the credit though cuz he ran across the finish line... kinda sad really... Tonka ended up getting sold as a side show attraction in a circus in America somewhere and died with little recignition... nice pic though! ^^
