I loved these movies as a kid, and I still love them today. The thought of a sentient car appealed to me as a child, and I don't know why. I watch these movies now and they bring back the warm feelings they used to bring to me when I was young. They almost bring tears of sentimental joy to my eyes.

I guess as we get older, those feelings of magic and joy seems to vanish only to be replaced by responsibility and reason. Growing up can be a drag, but thanks to Herbie, I'll always have a piece of that magic to warm and soften my now cold, hardened heart...
