A former privateer's guild representative, Clayman had struck out and started building up his own army and using resources for reasons that seem to be clear to anyone but those close to him, recruiting the likes of people ranging from Tera and Bullock to Twigs and Ingrid. He also proves just how strong he is as well by using his military expertise, his mark that allows him to manipulate clay of all forms, and his weapon of choice is a hammer that has a few slots for netherite and aetherite dust, allowing him to slam with force equivalent to that of a bomb going off.

A few people seem to point out that Clayman actually has ultimately benevolent goals in mind, but it's hard to tell what he's trying to accomplish since he refuses to tell anyone those plans but those closest to him... Maybe he's too prideful and stubborn to notice that? Or is it something else...?
