One reason Mickey McMichael won't cross over is because of his love for Ireland, his home country. That and his fiancé is still mourning for him and he refuses to leave her side. He's made it his duty to be her guardian angel, so to speak, and always watch over her. So sad.
This was a great piece for practising backgrounds. Mickey is also who I will be making my next suit of, so it's nice to have another reference photo of him. I'm pretty happy with the background. I need better grass brushes, I think. Only took me 3 hours, so I am getting faster!

I'm half Irish, too. I claim descent from Niall of the Nine Hostages, first historical High King of Ireland (c.400) through his son, Eogan. However, pivotal links in the family tree are missing from the official records, and there might have been name-dropping to muddy the issue.
Mickey need not STAY a ghost or ever cross-over. In one of my fan-fics, a strange land of bent laws of physics, slowly solidifies ghosts into living persons again. He'd have to go there to effect this. Once the Change is done, they can even have children.
The landscape there is also beautiful, but the people native are quite crazy ! He'd not be tempted to stay there !
