So, for context, Nicholas allowed a few of his friends to know about the existence of his new demon friend, Astaroth. Carter, the spotted skunk in a tight place was not entertained by Astaroth’s sense of humor, taking mild offense to them. It wasn’t until he made a joke about skunks being overly sensitive did Carter voice his displeasure and threaten to spray the demon (he calls his ability to spray a “gift” and flaunts very often, which does annoy his friends). Now, there are two things that Carter didn’t take into consideration.

One, Astaroth is a LITERAL shadow demon, and two, never threaten a demon if you can’t challenge them physically. Thus, this image here is the result. Astaroth borderline choking Carter with Nicholas begging him not to and Victoria (the African wild dog/Aardwolf hybrid) encouraging Astaroth to give him a lesson in knowing when to pick a fight and knowing when to drop it and leave. However, as bad as it looks, the hold he has Carter in is a warning one and not enough to cause anything more than some pins and needles. It’s like the equivalent of a slap on the wrist. No skunks where harmed in the making of this image, but at least this skunk knows it’s not the only one that is black, white, and deadly all over.
