- Leaning down to investigate something at ground level! Perhaps it's a beautiful flower, or a very small friend!!
- Looking over her shoulder, likely to get one more glimpse of a beautiful sight or a nice friend before she leaves!
- And caught in conversation!! Shasta loves to talk with all kinds of people! To her, getting to know people better is so rewarding!!

Oh? You're still here?
Well, while I have you, why don't I share a couple more details about our beloved little Shasta that aren't mentioned on my front page! Because dangit if Shasta could meet people IRL I bet we'd have more kindness going around!

- It may already be obvious but Shasta is too heavy to fly! Not that she minds though! She enjoys travelling slowly on foot. She is rarely in any sort of hurry, so being grounded allows her to appreciate the nature around her!
- Shasta has shockingly good balance for her figure! She can easily stand on one leg while holding or manipulating something with the other! She does use her wing-claws as hands when necessary, but if she can stay stationary she prefers to use a foot!
- Shasta's tail tip not only looks like a flower, but behaves like one too! It is open like a flower in bloom whenever Shasta is awake and moving about, and opens especially wide when she is happy or excited! However the tail tip closes up while Shasta is asleep, or if she is sad.
- Shasta loves children! Despite being significantly larger than a fully grown adult, she adores kids and loves to play with them or make them smile!
- While Shasta would seem like a pacifist, she is not quite that harmless. Often times she will chase off threats to the local farms and villages, using her fire breath as a deterrent if necessary. And anyone that has hurt good people with their lies or manipulation may be hurt in turn by Shasta, as to her emotional and physical pain are no different. However Shasta will always avoid violence if she can, but if the threat of pain upon her friends is unavoidable, she will fight for them.
- Shasta would like to hug you now. Yes, You! Right now!! Come accept this strong wing hug!! Let Shasta pull you up against her soft form, feel the warmth in her belly, the blanket of her wings wrapping around your back and sides, her neck wrapping partially around you, and know that everything is going to be all right, and Shasta loves you!
