It's a warm late afternoon on the West Coast, and Lucy's soaking up some last-minute beach vibes before it's time to go home. Come sit with her!

This is a brand-new piece of art that I got several pieces of feedback from folks as I was making to improve it- I still gotta work on my shading and hands/feet (plantigrade furry feet are tougher than I thought), but for the most part I think I did a splendid job on making things feel alive and real, comparatively speaking. I haven't drawn an ocean scene in years, so half the work was just on the background. Lol

All in all, I'm quite proud of myself for this one. I just gotta keep chugging along, and before I know it, I'll be as good as the artists I most envy.
