Old character concept from AU IZ RP verse I was part of back in the day on dA
Had a big shared project going called the Machine War, where the Irken Empire allied with any other aliens instead of conquering them to stand together against a bigger threat. An Empire of sentient machines wanting to destroy all organic life, ruled by one calling himself Mech Droid and assisted by a cyborg traitor of the Irken Empire.
Learning even machines faces mortality Mech Droid secretly began a side project of creating an heir just in case, cloning his second in command's DNA with what hidden leftovers he had of his own original alien body, to create a spawn of the two of them. And then began the process of turning that spawn into a cyborg with plans to bit by bit turn her full machine, so as to follow the same process her 'parents' did.
All ends with the organics winning the day, destroying the machines and their leaders - never to learn about young Cypra hidden away in a secret bunker, left to consider what to do about the loss of her parents and heritage.
Parts of the designs could handle a redo if I was every to pick up this character again, but I still like her concept.
