I was thinking the same thing. I'm hoping for the slightly less miserable mind wipe and rehoming scenario, but, neutralization would certainly be uh, easier and more cost effective.

Honestly, both sound plausible considering this is Star's art. It'd be incredibly wise to mentally prepare oneself for the upcoming tragedy.

saffy being able to be a baby and make memories with her mother and her mother actually get to bring her up again but this time no science or keeping her under the rule of her father trying to get her to be a prodigy.

Rather saffy being celebrated for her work and knows its safe to be a little girl.
