Sketched on my tablet in March on my tablet.... Then it isn't until like April I decided to line and color it on my PC.
Frankly i think the waist down section is off - I was thinking it'd be longer looking... But I forgot about fixing it up before I lined and mostly colored it sooo whatever LOL
I took a while to post this honestly, but my supporters still got to see this early in timely manner just posting on social media takes way too much time orz
I'm debating on what story she will be used in, I sort of imagine her as a teacher/governess?

I'm gonna be honest with you: BEAUTIFUL pic, but something about the position of the head is off. It looks like she's looking over her shoulder rather than turning her head demurely. I THINK what you need to do is make sure her chin is more brightly lit than her shoulder so we know the chin is closer to us.

I do agree there should be some shadow on her shoulder area since her head is over there (not exactly what you're explaining) But if you watched my speedpaint I initially wanted her to be back lit but overall that shadow made the character too dark and background too light....... but the goal was the character to be the focus & I wanted a ref I could use in future for color picking if necessary so I just got rid of the shadow on the upper half since it didn't work out...
Also I feel it's more of the neck angle + shoulder being an issue but I won't go back to fix it as my time is way too limited to fix my personal art and I'd rather spend it on creating more art instead as there are more characters I'd like to redraw that don't have updated references & designs I'd like to create rather than wasting on fixing my old pieces.
