Unlike previous commenters, I'm glad Lego ended the bionicle franchise. They were really starting to overstretch it towards the end, so it was probably better to call it quits. And, like drag_seduction says, the fanbase will keep it alive more than enough. :3

I think Bionicle started to honestly die, when they switched over to the Glatorian saga. I loved the series as much as anybody, but I agree, it had to stop at some point. Glad they did it when they did.
I'm also keeping an eye on the Hero Factory stuff. Set-wise, the new pieces are very gratifying, *The MOC above uses Hero feet, in fact.* Storywise, I'm enjoying the radio broadcasts they've been having on the site, and am looking forward to seeing what developments they'll have.
