This was first done a year or two ago with the Skunkworks staff members. This time around, it's the Caterwaul team's turn! So put on your thinking caps (or your glasses) and see if you can identify which characters are which (Look at the Caterwaul cover for hints). One of the characters in this picture was not drawn on the new cover, since she won't be appearing until after the second story.
Here are the character names, but they don't match the letters in the picture. Can you figure them out? (Fuck, this sounds like some goddamn kid's puzzle bullshit on the back of a fast food menu)...

Not yet. I still have to reduce the page sizes and scan them in. Then I can add the text. The big hold up right now is that kids book deal. As soon as the first issue of Caterwaul comes out, I will HAVE to have the next one ready to go within 4 months. With the kids book crap going on, I can't guarantee I can get the next book done that quickly.
So I want to get at least some of the second book done, as well as the first kids book, before I submit the first Caterwaul book. That should give me enough playing room so I won't have to worry about missing consecutive deadlines.

Thanks! This is just a quickie one-hour sketch though. If I was drawing the picture larger I could line things up better and get in more detail.
The fun part about drawing people (in my mainstream work) is that I don't use any photos or reference. Like the anthro stuff I draw, I like to pull it all from my mind. Heck, I was drawing from photos when I was 10, so there's no real challenge in that. But drawing it from one's imagination is a lot more difficult and a lot more fun.

13 years, 18 engine changes and revisions, a plot rewrite a diffrent developer then back to id games who then went bust and is now being finished by another company.
what relly pissed me off was when they almost had the game finished then they did it on a new game engine, then again the same then it just got supidly ridiculus after that, a teaster video released with megadeath doing the theme tune and that was the last we heard untill THIS year lol.

I still have to scan in a bunch of artwork for the site and do a bit more HTML junk. It, like the Caterwaul book, has been on a temporary hold since I started with the kids book project. The sooner I can get that book finished, the sooner I can get back to the site and Caterwaul.
dont pressure em, remember jim has had a few eye operations and dez is working so let em take there time and finish off other stuff.
