In this picture Kodiak is in his teen stage.
By now he has learned of his older sister's nightly hunts.
On a many occasions he had begged Shade for him to join her. But she would firmly tell him "Maybe when your older." and leave it at that.
Kodiak watches once more as his sister leaves. He tries to call after her, but she must have been in a bad mood because she did not even bother to respond to him. Something she did not do often.
