So yeah, I was going to post this on my birthday, but I figured hey a day early won't make a difference (plus I'm going to be at school tomorrow almost all day, though I will take a break to go see Cirque du Soleil ^^).
Anyway, normally around my birthdays I get all moody and introverted, so that's why I did a slightly somber drawing, but surprisingly enough, this year I'm not even really concerned about it. Whoop-de-doo more or less describes my attitude. However, I still plan on going to the bar tonight and milking it for all its worth, hopefully getting some birthday shots etc.

Oh pfft, we had snow yesterday. True it melted, but the temperature is still at zero today and it's eleven o'clock so odds are, Winter is just about here. And it's not that I get sad over my age, it was usually that my birthday parties sucked lolz, selfish I know. That and most people always forgot and had no idea until I said "Hey come on over." I mean honestly, it's not as if we didn't go to school together for 13 years or anything. The best guess people usually have is that it's mid october.
I wouldn't really say that this is somber... moreso... cautiously optimistic, given that vague smile adorning the face we see, here. The sunset is also a nice touch as a metaphor on one year of your life coming to a close before a new day dawns. I dunno... maybe I'm reading too deeply into this. xD But regardless, the pic has a ton of atmoshphere that encourages the viewer to take everything in and perceive a deeper meaning. :3
