well i finally had a "i gotta do it now " moment and spend like 2 hours working on the spine for my tail. it involved a lot of hammering bending and burning and patience, it took so long as i had a lot to do to make this.
The pars are tri-lobe aluminum bars, strong yet workable with a lot of FIRE!!!!!.
i had to take out sections around the middle as to join the two together, then had to heat, bend and bind each wire around the center of the bars , the clip is a strap adjuster attached via wire once more and the clip fits quite well on my belt,
if al goes well tomorrow well today with the support rings and the stuffing and fur, maybe even feather tip, i dunno yet, i may progress to either making tails and ears for commissions or supplying spines to suit makers if asked
, this is the first attempt, there are refinements to be made to the design, but so far so i believe this is a good start

Good start dude,
What i see a lot of people doing now is putting some big-arse industrial chain into the tail then just sewing the shape into the tail from the pattern. When i did mine i tried to put a spine in it to make it curve a little bit once you add the polyfill in it doesnt really take the same shape as the spine. So making the pattern curved is probably better. And the chain makes the tail swish around all real like :3
Might have to start my animatronic moving one again. You've inspired meh XD
