Fanart for the amazing 
avyris Who is a really amazing artist. She's really skilled and has a great sense of humor. She deserves all the attention she gets, and much more at that. Unfortunately, I have done some bad things to her in the past, as well as to other artists, and I really am ashamed of it. I'm really going to try to start fresh, if I can, and make up for the things I did.
I didn't have a color palette to work with here, so the colors are a bit off. I didn't know what color her hat was either, so I just guessed it was red and white. Sorry if I'm wrong^^;

Huh. Colors are off? I didn't even notice outside of the hat, but even that I don't mind. Looks cool red. Nice and bright. :3 It's like an interesting twist on a normally dull accessory. Got to be honest and say that I dig it.
I think the light beams are a little distracting, just to throw some friendly critique in here. The background draws the viewer's eye to the center of the canvas, especially with the two views of Avy balancing either side. It's almost like a scale, with the center point being in the middle. But then it's like SUDDENLY OUT OF RIGHT FIELD. x3 A little bit 'wat' from a compositional stand point but it might help to hide any color mistakes you may have made, so I can't say that it's all bad.

Oh, you don't have to try so hard to "start fresh" with me. x3 I never really held any sort of grudge. In fact, I deeply regret not taking your commission request. I fully realize that it's mostly ridiculous paranoia and anxiety on my part, bit of a personality flaw of mine that I literally have to take pills to manage. It's so ridiculous. @.@ But, hey, we live and we learn. No harm done, here nor there. I actually really like your fursona, personally. Has a very nice, simple, basic design. But, that being said, I still probably would feel uncomfortable drawing (or well... at least coloring) her, silly as that may be. I'm not going to take your hard earned money for a drawing I'd probably have to force myself to do, you know? Would come out like crap in the end. x3
