It was all Helena's idea to get Althazar into actually doing belly dancing. After all, she noticed how he liked to watch the dancers (although it was a question of actually liking the art or just the typical "exotic lust" like some people have), and even if the interest was shallow, he was one of the few big guys she knew who liked wearing silks, wearing excessive jewelry, and and keeping himself as well groomed as possible. Luckily for her Althy always had good sense of following the rhythm, for he seemed to move to any music playing or he was playing. He got the dances down pretty easy and didn't seem to be afraid of performing in front of people like most of the guys she's seen who try belly dancing.
It's always fun when you explain to people that male belly dancers exist; mostly because there's such a stigma around it. But then again, my fursona is constantly blurring boundaries and just being a pain in everyone's side with the constant screwing with what people expect.
