To help me train the skill of drawing a figure from a basic stick figure skeleton I'm doing one sketch every day.
The process has changed a bit from that used in the Anatomy project.
For this project I start with a photo reference like I did in the Anatomy project, but on a new layer over the photo I draw a basic stick figure skeleton.
Then I hide the photo layer, leaving only the skeleton.
In a new image I re-draw the skeleton on one layer, and then draw the complete figure on another layer.
For this project I have changed the rules a little:
As before, it has to be done in less than 1 hour, I can only use the one brush (Though I can choose which brush before I start), and I can only use black.
However, I am allowing myself to erase.
As usual, I'm drawing snowleoaprd ladies.
I'm actually giving them tails this time though!
19 minutes tonight.
Short time and short tail.
It can be a bit of a challenge to work out how to draw the junction of tail and bum/back.
