Here we go!! I hope you're, uh-- I hope you're ready for 2019 art for a little while!!

I started this plotline before I stopped doing completely vertical-scroll style pages, so the first 6 pages are TALL boys. I also was drawing on a completely different device and using a completely different program! So many changes since 2019, and you're going to witness them evolve all over again in the next few weeks.

I felt visceral embarrassment looking at this page and noticing all the weird little 2019 things I was doing, which I think is good evidence that you should just DO things and not sit on them for 3 years because otherwise you're going to be dissatisfied with your hard work when you eventually post it :/

I have no idea how Faustus' hats work, btw, and I don't feel like thinking about it. Just look at him in his trenchcoat and fedora and let that distract you
