Was minding my own business today playing on the nets when I huge rumble came over the house. I looked out the window to suddenly see what?
A ACTUALLY FLYING B-17 FLY OVER O_O
think to myself "darn.......... if I had known that was comming......" then only 5 minutes later, The rumbling returns! :D and I knew what was going on now
B-17 came by a third time and I was ready for it >3
Here are the pics I managed to snap off :D
went back into the house and was excited and even after explaining thers maybe only 10 of these still flying and that it was a once in a life time opportunity, my sister could only say one thing.
"so.....? who gives a crap >.>" *sighs* she has no respect for history

Dude that's awesome!
I love old planes and whatnot, especially the ones from world war 2 era.
Last year I got to fly a 1943 T-6 Texan. Strange thing about it is, it was made on my brother and sister's birthday, only 54 years before they were born.
needless to say, like this, it was a once in a life time chance, and I'm glad I took it.

The group that let me fly it was North American Top Gun, see if they're visiting you anytime soon, and I would recommend setting at least $600 off to the side for a flight if they are going to be around sometime soon, the plane eats gas, it's engine is a 600hp radial, and it burns 75 gallons of fuel an hour, so be prepared for a costy, but VERY fun flight n.n
